Testify Tuesdays: Police Reform & Policy
In conjunction with the TESTIFY exhibit at the Cargill Gallery (February 1-March 29), this workshop guides participants through exercises that will help them create personal narratives and testimonials to advocate for social change.
This week’s topic will be police reform and privacy. Come to the library early to view the gallery exhibit and then go to Doty Board Room at 5:30 p.m. to learn how you can impact history by engaging politically.
This workshop is a nonpartisan advocacy exercise, and the participating organizations are here to provide examples of how advocacy can work to advance specific causes. Individuals can choose a topic for their public comment or testimony or reach out directly to their elected officials.
