Person to Person is a non-profit organization that helps low-income families who are working to become more self-sufficient by supporting housing stability.

The Hennepin County families served:
· Have annual incomes below $15,000
· Have at least one child under the age of 16
· Are at immanent risk of homelessness

Programs address the issues of housing retention through:
· Advocacy
· Mediation [Legal Aid Society]
· Negotiation [with landlords and social service agencies]
· Emergency funds [from Hennepin County Family Funds}
· Tenant education [by licensed occupational therapists]

UUAHP funds are being used to help support the Independent Living Skills Program. Licensed occupational therapists work with families on:
· Money management
· Home management
· Transportation plans
· Health and safety
· Stress Management
· Goal setting
· Parenting
