meeting consisted of a rehearsal of the YIMBY presentation and feedback.
The steering committee
approved expenditure of up to $200 for printing and copying costs for
YIMBY presentation materials.

Join 100 + UU's from across the Twin Cities and UUA president Bill Sinkford!
Starts at 1 pm with a rally and training with Rev. Sinkford and Rev. Rob
Eller-Isaacs. Event moves on to various locations to register voters.
Ends back at FUS for a closing celebration/reflection.

MUUSJA Update
* A party is being planned for sometime before the Nov. election to celebrate:
o Voter registration efforts
o MUUSJA staffing agreement with Betsy Allis
o The return to the Twin cities of Meg Riley
* Charlie Clemence of the UU Service Committee will be the guest speaker
at MUUSJA's October meeting. UUSC has committed $10,000 to MUUSJA for
development.
Habitat for Humanity
Update
* Fall Habitat building dates: Oct. 14, 15, &16 in Heritage Park,
800 block of Emerson Ave. N.
* Dedication of the 3 Habitat homes built in Heritage Park by UU's during
the summer was held on Sunday Sept. 12
Jo Haberman brought
up the issue of a possible collaboration with CSP (Community Stabilization
Project), a grassroots organization focusing on "Undoing Racism".
Barbara
Weatherhead moved that we invite CSP to an exploratory conversation at
a UUAHP steering committee meeting after the first of the year in 2005.
Phil seconded and the motion passed. Jo agreed to extend the invitation.
