Group Mission/Purpose:
The reproductive rights campaign will set up activities that institutionalize a pro-child, for-family, pro-UU women voice in the community. This campaign presents the issue of reproductive rights as a sacred choice, supported by historical religious theology and simultaneously promotes religious freedom.

The reproductive rights campaign sets up activities that protect the legal individual rights of people to make decisions about their reproductive lives. This campaign puts the issue of reproductive rights within a UU theological framework that empowers UU's to defend reproductive rights and protect religious freedom.

The reproductive rights campaign works with the Minnesota Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and other allied groups to support our efforts.

ProChoice Lobby Day Wednesday, February 15, 2012

With the changes at the Capitol after the 2010 elections bringing an anti-choice majority to the House and Senate we need to stand strong and defend the Right to Choose! There is a Rally at noon in the Rotunda, and there are workshops, lobby visits and activities from 8:45 am to 2:30 pm. Come for the Rally, or for as much of the event as you can!

Registration is open for Pro-Choice Lobby Day 2012. More information is available on their site, including a detailed schedule and registration. If this is your first Lobby Day have no fear! There will be excellent training and plenty of people who have attended before, so you won’t be in the dark about the issues or how to talk about them.
