Unleashing courageous leadership and collective power
to realize a just and loving world.
In the wake of this turbulent and hurtfully divisive election season, where do you find yourselves? How are you feeling?
Having experienced a loss, many people are grieving. Maybe you are grieving. If so, I am wondering how you are doing. I am also wondering how you are helping other people around you that are grieving—especially those people who have even more reason to fear for their safety or their future well-being based on purported and proposed policies.
Join us for this month's timely and important Convening Call: Healing Our Hearts in a Post-Election Time. We will be meeting online tomorrow (November 21st) from 7:00-8:30pm. Please register here so that we know who to expect. We will be using the online video conference software Zoom (details below).
Our guest speakers this month will be the Rev. Laura Smidzik (Michael Servetus Unitarian Society, Fridley, MN) and Laura Thompson (Minnesota Valley UU Fellowship, Bloomington, MN), who will bring to bear their experiences ministering to people of differing political beliefs.
We invite UUs around the state to join virtually gather with us to learn about a social justice issue or leadership topic together. Convening calls are free and open to anyone, and are held using Zoom video/teleconferencing software each month.
