MUUSJA's Annual Celebration & Fundraiser

Thursday, September 29

5:30  7:30 pm

Join us for MUUSJA's Annual Celebration and Fundraiser: State of the UUnion: Unitarian Universalism, Polarization, and the Promise of this Political Moment.

The Minnesota Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Alliance (MUUSJA) is unleashing the courageous leadership and collective power of Minnesota Unitarian Universalists to realize a just and loving world. MUUSJA is Minnesota’s public voice for our UU values.

We have a $5,000 match for this event—help us reach our $12,000 goal! All are invited whether or not you are able to contribute. Contributions of any amount are welcome.

5:30pm: Meet & Greet and Great Food

6:15pm: Welcome & Justice Awards

6:30pm: Panel Discussion

7:15: Celebrating MUUSJA

Description of the Panel Discussion: We are in an unprecedented political moment, in which both powerful movements for justice and reactive, fear-filled responses of resistance are emerging.  By looking at the specifics of the political and social landscape in the Twin Cities, throughout the state of Minnesota, and across our nation, our panel of thoughtful, justice-oriented community leaders and activists will help us make sense of the immense fear and the deep hope that are springing forth in these times.  Panelists will be announced soon!
